This kit uses a single stage AVIAID pump, rated at 16 US G.P.M. mounted on a patent ROSS RACING bracket that incorporates the alternator on a NISSAN SKYLINE, the kit uses a 8 mm HTD profile tooth design similar to Nissan timing belts.
The question is:- Why should I use an external pump on my expensive SKYLINE engine.
The answer :- Logical reasoning tells us when the evidence shows that the oil pump in these engines is definitely lacking in stamina, one must move away from the style of pump that continues to fail and use a more reliable alternative that won’t fail and break my engine.

Nissan VQ35 SFI dampening balancer
PART NUMBER :- 306230
This is our new VQ35 balancer to suit factory crank angle sensor and computer. It features steel Hub and removable pulley packs, the current diameters are at std diameter. This is made to SFI specs and can be issued with certification. The dampening part is removable also has location for dry sump drive to be mounted.
These images show a red Hard anodised 7075 aerospace alloy crank hub which is an option at the moment. The alloy hub is good for weight and it also prevents galling on the crank nose. We will be introducing hard anodised pulley packs as an option in the future.

This Kit features a crank angle sensor, sensor mount and a Crank trigger Pulley .
“So what” you might say, well the Famous Nissan RB engines have a few areas needing refinement especially when worked past their normal limits.
One of these needed areas is their computer referencing methods and locations.
The engineers at ROSS have designed a fancy rigid sensor mount and a wheel which are fitted simply by unbolting the Ross Metaljacket balancer rear pulley and degree wheel and bolting on a rear pulley that has a trigger wheel machined into the pulley so it all mounts up without any special machining at a machine shop, we have already done it for you.
