Time Attack originated in Japan in the 1980′s as a proving ground for street-tuned cars built by highly respected tuning garages. Within a short period of time the format became so popular, performance shops started developing race cars purpose built for the event.
The popularity of Time Attack format has spread throughout the world, with the US, UK, New Zealand and Australia all hosting their own national events.
Time Attack format is not unlike a qualifying lap in traditional motorsport where competitors race against the clock with the fastest single lap collecting the prize.
With the rules limited almost purely to safety aspects and very few restrictions on modifications the Time Attack race cars are seriously fast, with speed being their primary focus.
With a star-studded field, this is not only going to be the World’s first but also the WORLDS BIGGEST event of its kind. The best in the world going head to head for the ultimate title of the WORLDS TIME ATTACK CHAMPION!
